Mission Opportunities

Below are the upcoming missions that we have scheduled.  Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to sign up. Priority , for all mission opportunities, is given to members of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville , Alabama. 

Huntsville and North Alabama

The Benevolence Ministry of WBC is located at The Place, 3911 Pulaski Pike. Opportunities for service include sorting and hanging clothes, driving donated clothing from the Martha Fleming Ministry Center located at 7300 Whitesburg Dr. to Whitesburg Baptist Church Pulaski Pike Campus and substituting in office administrative work. Each year Kids To Love provides Christmas presents to foster children who might not otherwise receive anything. You can help in a variety of ways.

The  Foster Children's Alliance assists foster children and families with resources to provide the many needs of children that cannot be obtained other ways.

New Hope Children's Clinic is a school based clinic created to increase the access to medical care for the underserved student population of Southeasten Madison County.

The Salvation Army begins to schedule volunteers in September. People who enjoy helping others have a bright Christmas season like that experienced by their families should consider becoming a Salvation Army Holiday volunteer.

The Huntsville Assistance is a group of Christian congregations who desire to provide a ministry of assistance and referrals to needy individuals and families in Madison County, Alabama. The ministry focuses on the non homeless.

Manna House is a 501(c)3 public charity that primarily provides food assistance to those in need. You can help serve meals and also distribute clothes, toilitries, and other much needed items 3 days a week.

The Downtown Rescue Mission is committed to serving the homeless living throughout North Alabama and Southern Tennessee by providing Christ filled enriched and compassionate services to those in desperate need.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama seek to inspire and enable all young people especially those who need us most to realize their full potential as productive, and responsible, and caring citizens.

The United States

WBC will partner with Church at the Well June 14- 20, 2019. We will be sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with friends over coffee at South Station, Boston's busiest Transit Hub.

Church at the well is a group of Christ followers who unite together on mission, in loving community, to support one another in living solely for the glory of Jesus. The desire is to serve each other, be a blessing to the community, spread the Gospel, and be agents of reconciliation in the city of Boston.

South Station opened in 1898, now serves thousands of commuters, travelers, shoppers and diners each day. 

Application Deadline: March 15, 2019.
Cost: $2,000.00
Date: June 14-20, 2019.

WBC will send a team to Helena, Montana October 23-28, 2018. We will serve with Andrew Hardiman and the Capstone Church in an evangelistic children's Fall Festival Outreach.

Application Deadline: August 31, 2018.
Cost: $1200
Date: October 23-27, 2018.

June 26-28, 2019 a team from WBC will join our partners, Wolf Creek Baptist Church and Cedaridge Ministries in an evangelistic, Fourth of July Block Party and Food Box Give Away.  You are invited to come and join the mission in one of these three ministries in the Appalachia Region.

Mexico and Canada

WBC will partner with Send Me Refuge, in 2019, in evangelistic children's outreach. Send Me Refuge is a Christian Organization that seeks to show Jesus by equipping, serving, and showing His love to others. 

Application Deadline: January 20, 2019.
Cost: $1,300.00
Date: March 11-16, 2019.

Ends of the Earth

WBC will travel to Cap Haitian, Haiti, November 2-9, 2019. We will partner with Haiti for Christ, founded by Pastor Joel and Yvonne Trimble . Haiti for Christ produces the number one television show in Haiti, La Bonne Nouvelle, that brings the Good News of Jesus Christ to Haitians both in Haiti and around the world. We will serve in evangelistic outreach in schools and villages in the greater Cap Haitian region.

Application Deadline: September 1, 2019.
Cost: $1600
Date: November 2-9, 2019.

WBC will be serving with our partner, CEF Israel, in Eilabun, August 8-17, 2019. We will serve with a Children's Camp, together with CEF Israel. 

CEF is a Bible centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with boys and girls. 

CEF Israel seeks to help and serve the local churches. It cooperates with Bible believing churches throughout Israel and helps them to train up children within their body and reach out to their communities.

Cost: $3000
Date: August 8-17, 2019

November 2-10, 2018, WBC will partner with Pastor Joel and Yvonne Trimble, founders of Haiti for Christ in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. Haiti for Christ produces the number one television show in Haiti, La Bonne Nouvelle, bringing the Good News of Christ to Haitians both in Haiti and around the world. We will serve in evangelistic outreach in local schools and churches in Cap-Haïtien, on the northern region of the Island.

Cost: $1600.00
Date: November 2-10, 2018

WBC will send a team to serve with the International Mission Board in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in June of 2019. We will serve in Creative Arts evangelistic outreach in several neighborhoods and churches of this city of 12.11 million people. 

Application Deadline: March 1, 2019
Cost: $2800
Date: May 29-June 7, 2019

WBC will send a team to Sighisoara, Romania October 4-16, 2018. We will host a Ladies Bible Conference, partnering with the Baptist Church of Sighisoara.

Application Deadline: August 31, 2018.
Cost: $2400
Date: October 4-16, 2018.
